• Saorview is the name given to Irelands first free to air Digital tv service.
  
• It Can be received via an existing TV Aerial although some homes may require aerial upgrade.
  
• Much sharper picture than Analogue with no snowy picture effects or ghosty images.
  
• The sound will be much clearer
  
• Interactive service available ( red button ) Subtitles
  
• Radio stations can also be received with the new service.
  
• Saorview can be combined with FreeSat to receive over 150 channels

How to receive Saorview

There are a few ways to receive this new service:

Existing TVs: Some newer television sets may have a suitable tuner already installed in them and only need a retune Mpeg4 Tuner.

Set Top Box: These set top boxes can be connected to your set to receive and watch Saorview.
